My goal is to maximize your home’s best assets while minimizing any flaws. I approach each project with an eye to the potential buyer and then create an interior that would suit their lifestyle and show how stylish people would live in the space. We share the same objective: to sell your house quickly and for the highest price possible.
The example on the left was an unfurnished bungalow in NE Portland. At under 1,000 sf, we expected the buyer would be a single person or couple with no children. It was staged with clean, graphic accessories and vintage items that would appeal to someone in their 30s - which is exactly who bought the home the first weekend it was on the market. Process + Services
At our initial meeting we’ll determine who your potential buyer is and whether you’d like your entire house staged or prefer to focus on just a few rooms.
I will provide you with a quote for the rooms being furnished, adjusting the price depending on whether we’re providing all or some of the furnishings. I’m happy to work with your existing furniture (if it can help us achieve our goal) and/or bring new pieces in.
I’ll let you know what should be tucked away while your home is on the market and what we can use for staging.
Accessories, plants, textiles, and anything else needed to achieve the right look will be provided on loan for the duration of the showing period.
We’ll work together to make sure that it’s a space you can live in while your house sells!
When traveling I always choose a vacation rental over a hotel. I look for something unique, preferably in a neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. I want to connect with the community, get recommendations from locals, find my “regular” coffeehouse, and be just as happy to come back to my rental as I am spending the day out exploring.
I love designing getaways that capture guests’ imaginations while also making them feel at home - only better. I like to mix vintage with new, seek out local artists, layer textiles and create an inviting atmosphere that is anything but cookie cutter. A great vacation rental can be as small as the studio pictured at left or as large as a boutique hotel.
Hiring me to design your vacation rental can be as minimal or as involved as you like. I can design your layout, help you with permitting, or take you through the entire process, from permitting to furnishings to branding and advertising. You can choose from the menu of services below.

On sunny days in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll find us outside, catching up with neighbors, reacquainting ourselves with the neighborhood dogs, and wishing we could spend the next three months outdoors. Because summer can seem fleeting, we often aren’t prepared to make the most of those balmy days until they’re half gone.
Whether you need help designing a yard that works with your lifestyle, would like a beautiful outdoor living space, or just want to carve out a little private getaway in your backyard, I’m here to help. Contact me to schedule an initial free 30-minute on-site consult. .
